Preparation and planning...

I just wanted to say that it was the best organised event that I have ever crewed for and the planning and walk throughs with the crew beforehand gave me the confidence that I knew what I needed to do and when, even though I didn’t know all the plot, which isn’t always the case when crewing an event!

The attention to detail, plans, and communication throughout the run up to and the event itself were incomparable and I knew what I needed to be wearing, when, and where to be at all times. There were no last minute panics before a scene, the crew were all well briefed and knew what was expected of them and when. The fact that you kept some of the plot from different crew also helped as we could be as surprised as the players when things happened. I was blown away by the props and costumes, just brilliant creativity all round and we all looked fantastic.

..... but I still have nightmares about hanging yellow silk!
